Term 2 Week 9

Dear Parents,

By now, you would have received your child's results for the respective papers. Overall, the students had improved. However, the amount of improvement was the deciding factor in sieving out our better performers.

I will be sharing your child's progress in greater detail during our Meet-the-Parent session next Thursday (29 May). Your child's Report Books will also be given then. So, please remember to book the slots as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. =)

Meanwhile, our lessons will resume. So, please remind your child to bring their books to school on Monday. Thanks

Term 2 Week 4

Dear Parents,

As the examinations are coming, we will be having a series of Mock Papers over the following week. Just a gentle reminder of our Science Mock after curriculum time.

Meanwhile, we had the opportunity to invite World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to come down to EPPS for an exhibition. A few of our 4 Courage students were also involved in Conservation training last Monday. They acted as our green ambassadors during the 2 days of exhibition, questioning fellow Eliasians on climate change.

Term 2 Week 3

Learning Journey to Labrador Nature Reserve

First of all, a big thank you to parents who volunteered for our LJ last Thursday. Though tiring, everyone had a great time strolling along the park. Here are some pictures for sharing.

Term 2 Week 2

Ice Cream Making!

This week, the students had the chance to make their own ice cream using whipping cream and yoghurt. The students had fun by adding their own favours such as fruits, chocolate, cookies and nuts. Some groups made successful (and tasty) ice cream but 1 group declared that they had made the worst tasting ice cream ever! Apparently, they didn't like the taste of milk.

Group 6 was too ambitious to add everything inside. In the end, their ice cream tasted funny.

Group 1 even brought their own 'cooler bag' to store the ice cream.

Group 3's ice cream was chocolate favoured.

Group 2 was quite healthy with fruits and sugar sprinklers.

Group 4 brought fruits and nuts too.

This is one of the more successful groups with semi-solid ice cream. They were adding the Hershey's chocolate syrup.

FTGP

In this week's FTGP session, students were asked to look out for non-verbal cues when communicating with people. This way, friends can better understand one another and avoid mis-communication among themselves.
